Meeting November 14th

A great meeting with two different speakers. Jill Devine led off the meeting with a great talk about her masters degree that she had just completed. She studied the golden mouse of the region and made a great presentation on it as well as different ways of approaching graduate school. Dr. Clay Nielson was the second speaker that spoke about his research with large carnivores and the public’s perception of them in the region. The state is greatly divided overall, but one thing is certain, we might not be able to control their movement and some people might be making regular contact with large carnivores.
